John Foxx, Billy Currie, ARP Odissey, analogue greatness from 1977.
And I think this was produced at Conny Planck’s Studio on his farm house near Cologne. Oh wait no it wasn’t, that was one album later. From that album. Systems Of Romance: the song Quiet Men: more great ARP Odissey.
The idea of “Quiet Men” reminds me of Tuxedomoon’s Incubus (Blue Suit). 1981. Which has a pretty unique sequencer. Sound engineer was Gareth Jones who also produced all the great Depeche Mode albums. Just like Conny Planck elevated Systems Of Romance the album, so does this guy with Desire the album. In my opinion the best of Tuxedomoon’s records.
